Homemade Macaroni and Cheese




Ingredients:

3 Tablespoons butter

3 Tablespoons flour

3 cups warm milk

16 oz shredded cheese (chedder is always nice)

1 lb. cooked pasta of your choice

Instructions:

Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour add whisk until flour is evenly distributed. Add warm milk and whisk until thickened and bubbly. Stir in cheese one cup at a time. You can either serve as is (what I usually do) or you can bake it. To bake put all cooked pasta in a baking dish and pour cheese mixture over noodles. Stir well. Top with breadcrumbs and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.


This is a great recipe to use mix-ins. Peas, Bacon, Hot Dog, hamburger. Whatever you have on hand can be added to your liking. Yum!


Note: This recipe makes a HUGE portion. I usually half the recipe if I'm just cooking for my little family of four. It's plenty.
